Dr. Greg Tolmie was born and raised in Essex County and is a graduate of St. Anne High School in Tecumseh, Ontario.  He attended the University of Western Ontario for his undergraduate education and continued on at Western to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.  During his years at the University of Western Ontario, Dr. Tolmie was the recipient of numerous academic awards and graduated at the top of his dental class as the Gold Medalist in Dentistry.

Having developed a passion for orthodontics during his years at Western, Dr. Tolmie pursued specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of Minnesota, where he received both his Orthodontic Specialty Certificate and a Master of Science Degree.

As both a past and current member of numerous organizations and sports teams throughout the area, Dr. Tolmie is committed to giving back to many local organizations and charities.  Although his education took him away from the area for a number of years, Dr. Tolmie has always considered Windsor/Essex County his home and is proud to be able to serve the community that helped raise him!

Dr. Caroline Cheung was born and raised in Vancouver and she developed her passion for orthodontics after having braces herself.  She attended the University of British Columbia for her undergraduate education and then completed her dental training at Dalhousie University in Halifax.  Dr. Cheung went on to complete a general dentistry residency program working with children at SickKids Hospital in Toronto and specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of Toronto. 

Dr. Cheung’s husband Tim is a proud Windsorite working in the automotive industry, and together they enjoy working on projects around their house.  Dr. Cheung loves that she gets to serve the community she now considers home.

Dr. Mark Parete was raised in Amherstburg and attended Villanova High School. The positive experience he encountered during his own orthodontic treatment set him on track to pursue a career as an Orthodontist. He attended Wayne State University for his undergraduate education and then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Detroit Mercy. Following graduation, he was selected to continue his specialty training in Orthodontics at Detroit Mercy, where he received both his Orthodontic Specialty Certificate and a Master of Science Degree.

Having undergone a first phase of orthodontics as a child for an impacted (stuck) tooth, comprehensive braces as an adolescent to straighten his teeth, and orthognathic jaw surgery as an adult to correct his bite, Dr. Parete has had a first-hand experience of what it feels like to be the patient.

In addition to private practice, Dr. Parete is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy and is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthodontics — an honour held by only 1 in 3 Orthodontists! When he’s not at the office, Dr. Parete is passionate about traveling, nature, and is a Detroit enthusiast

Dr. Jeffrey Chow was raised in the Greater Toronto Area and harnessed his keen interest for orthodontics after having braces himself and witnessing both his two younger siblings do the same. He obtained his Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario. Following graduation, he remained in the forest city and completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Western Ontario in association with London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre.

Afterwards, Jeff completed three years of private practice in general dentistry, before returning to school to pursue specialized training in orthodontics and obtained his Master of Science in Orthodontics at the University of Toronto to finally fulfill his passion in providing great smiles.

Jeff’s wife, Sandy, was raised in Windsor and has been working as a general dentist in the Downtown Toronto area for over four years and is finally looking forward to her homecoming. Together they are excited to set their roots down in Windsor as Jeff begins his dream job as your friendly, neighbourhood orthodontist. Outside the clinic, Jeff is an avid artist, basketball brainiac, and coffee connoisseur.
